CMO-level decision-making baked into your growth plan, hands-on, embedded, and priced for a brand that isn't ready for a full-time executive yet.
Every recommendation ties to a channel we can execute in, not a deck that sits in a drive.
Senior judgment sized to your budget and stage, without the overhead of a full executive hire.
TikTok Shop, Amazon, paid media, email, and the website, under one point of view.
I understand the constraints of early-stage startups and shape every recommendation to work within a tight budget, not around it.
Founder & Managing Director, ecommet
Ruth Cuadrado has spent her career building things that did not exist before she got there: the first e-commerce presence at Hilton Worldwide, the first social media strategy in the hospitality industry, brands taken from zero to eight figures, and now ecommet, the growth marketing agency she founded to bring that same instinct to founders and enterprises alike. Across two decades in commercial marketing, she has operated less like an executive running a playbook and more like a builder writing the next one.
She spent nearly a decade at Hilton Worldwide, advancing through senior roles across Latin America, the Caribbean, and the United States. As Regional eCommerce Director, she built Hilton's first enterprise websites for Spanish and Portuguese speaking markets and introduced one of the company's first uses of AI in analytics, years before it became standard practice. As Regional Marketing Director, she managed a portfolio of more than 100 hotels and resorts and a large pipeline of new hotel openings.
From there, she stepped into a global executive role as Chief Marketing Officer of VisionDirect Group (SmartBuyGlasses.com), a Shanghai based e-commerce company with operations and teams spanning more than 40 countries. She led one of the largest optical e-commerce performance marketing operations in the world.
In the years since, Ruth has worked across both startups and established consumer businesses, most recently as VP of Marketing and Operations for a national skincare brand she helped take from launch to eight figures in revenue, driven in part by one of the category's first interactive, personalized celebrity commercials. She now leads ecommet, working with brands like Obagi Medical and Milk Makeup, on a simple rule: nothing goes out the door just because it looks good. Followers, aesthetics, and trends are never the goal on their own, every channel is built around a clear audience, a point of view, and a business outcome it is meant to move.
Ruth holds an MBA in Marketing from Fundacao Getulio Vargas (FGV) in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and a postgraduate diploma in International Relations from the University of London in the United Kingdom. She is fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese, and is based in Atlanta, Georgia.
